RE: The AIDS Memorial in Barbara Hall Park, Toronto

Endorsers affirm Echoes as a comprehensive vision to honour people who died of AIDS, uphold the dignity of people living with HIV, and restore the memorial’s clarity, prominence, and public meaning.

The proposal strengthens the existing memorial through spatial definition, interpretive depth, and cultural authorship by ensuring that loss, survival, and ongoing struggle remain visible and understood.Conceived as a unified composition, each element reinforces the others.

This is not a menu of optional upgrades but an integrated redesign.
